The scientific and inventive genius of Afro Americans is perhaps the least known aspect of Black history. Some of the most commonly used life saving items were created by them for the world. The stop light and the gask mask are but two inventions that com to mind. Many inventors were not financially rewarded for their work. Some were cheated outright; while others forfeited patent rights to further help humanity. but their creations speak most eloquently of their capacity to make dreams come true.
