  A famous writer once said, thoe who don’t learn the lesson of history are condemn to repeat it. But the Lessons of history need not always be so ominous. Historycan enlighten us, challenge us, and change us. Thorough history we can learn of the successes of a people, of the perceptions and values of a generations and of their dream for the future. History can encourage us to expand the boundaries of our knowledge about ourselves and enlighten us to continue the efforts to grow and become more humane.   W.S.
